Organised by Ghent University and Imec, the Nano- and BioPhotonics (NB-Photonics) initiative aims engage academia and industries in multidisciplinary collaborations to face societal pivotal challenges, organizing events where the Key Enabling Technologies within photonics, nanotechnology, and biotechnology have the potential to help provide solutions.
Held in May 2023, the VISSION project was presented in the context of its aim to integrate active elements including sources, modulators and detectors to achieve optical coherence tomography and flow cytometry applications in a compact integrated photonic platform.
More information on the NB-Photonics event and the presentations given can be found here.
In June 2023, UNIPRESS co-organized the 50th International School & Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors “Jaszowiec 2023”, the largest international conference on semiconductors in Poland (https://www.jaszowiec.edu.pl/about).
The conference gathered the international semiconductor physics community in Poland.
The Conference was preceded by a 2-day tutorial session (School), addressed mainly to graduate students and young scientists, where outstanding scientists gave one of the lectures and presented their research results. More about the Jaszowiec conference at www.jaszowiec.edu.pl
